Axle Scales

More About AXLE Scales

Southwestern Scale provides heavy duty axle scales that are built to industrial field specifications and designed to withstand any climate and are offered in a wide variety of sizes, configurations and weight capacities. They are not meant to be an alternative to a certified scale because they require “split weighing” to achieve total vehicle weight. Split Weighing is not a legal for trade weighing method in most states. We offer heavy duty, US made products as well as lower cost, light duty Chinese manufactured axle scales for price conscious customers.

Axle scales are ideal for capturing axle weights and estimating total vehicle weight. They are also perfect for situations where space is limited and a small footprint is required for reliable, accurate performance. We offer a vast range of options including above ground portable designs, pit mounted, static and weigh in motion and ultra portable truck axle scales.

Wheel weighers are the optimal tool for calibrating on board truck scales used on waste trucks, logging trucks, remote spot checking and overload avoidance. Wheel weighers also serve as engineering analysis instruments for on road and off road vehicle development.
