WHAT YOU’LL DO IN THIS ROLE

The primary function of this position is to work with heavy structural steel to build our Truck Scales. We utilize Miller 302 and XMT350 welders, 100Amp Plasma Torch, Mag Drills, Flame Torches, and various other items.

This role is vital to the day-to-day operations of SWSCALE, and will provide an immediate and meaningful impact to the business. Some of these positions will fill our daytime slots, while others will fill the night slots.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE

• Dependability and a willingness to work with others
• Excellent flat welding skills
• Good overhead and/or vertical welding ability
• Experience cutting with flame and/or plasma torch
• Experience in fabricating and fitting structural steel
• Understanding and reading prints
• Forklift certification
• The ability to be a strong leader
• Endurance to work 8+ hours per day (typically from 4am-1pm for the daytime shift and 1pm-10pm for night shift)
• Bilingualism is a plus!

We REQUIRE a simple welding test when you come in to complete your application. This test requires you to demonstrate a flat, vertical, and overhead weld. Come prepared with your helmet, gloves, and any other safety equipment you need. Apply in person at our offices (2535 W. Pay: $24.00 – $34.00 per hour (depending on experience)

Supplemental Pay: Bonus pay
